The City of Killeen is located in the heart of central Texas with a population of over 100,000 citizens. Killeen is also located next to Fort Hood, the largest military base in the free world. Our mission as the city's Parks & Recreation Department is 'To enhance, promote and provide parks, recreation facilities and programs to all citizens for a better quality of life.'
For local residents, we will update league schedules, standings, weather updates & make-up schedules. Registration dates will be available as well as league information on all youth and adult sports.
Killeen is also host to a wide variety of athletic tournaments for all ages. Killeen Parks & Recreation has hosted countless local, district, state and national championships for a variety of sports an affiliations. We are affiliated with Amateur Softball Association, Texas Teen Age Baseball and the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation. If you happen to be traveling to Killeen for an event, you will be able to check on the status of events, weather, dates, brackets and much more.
